However he had a lot more green and darker coloration than this one and made me consider this one may be what was advertised. Even though he looked just like a normal Silver with a hint of more shine.

There is a highly likely chance the silver will get murdered by the jardini, as a rule you either keep one arowana or at least 5 to spread aggression but with jardini's even this doesnt work, they are just mean. Most jardini's wont accept any tankmates at all once they get over 30cm let alone other fish

The barbels do not grow back to the original length. Arowanas that don't have it look very odd. For the blue/black and silver arowana, the long appendages on the pelvic fins also don't grow back to the original length. But like someone mentioned above, there could be ways to make them grow back again.
